#32 An Introduction…

We met at a friend’s house.  We sat next to each other.  I asked if I could touch you.  You laughed and said it was ok with you.  For the next half hour I rubbed your back.  Then in the kitchen everyone was telling you what you should do concerning your girlfriend and I decided to chime in.  “Yeah, you should probably break-up with her.”  Later that night you did.

The second time we met, I explained that I would be speaking in church the coming Sunday.  I invited everyone to come and you came.  And then you came to hang out with my friends and I after church.  I really think that is when our friendship really began.  After that we spent every single day together for months.   Most times we even saw each other more than once a day.  It was like we couldn’t get enough of each other.  We ate together, walked together, worked and served together, planned together, laughed together, danced together.  Everything together.  Even after the honey-moon stage was over we were still enchanted by each other.  And even though things are very different now, and we hardly see or talk to one another, I know we are still enchanted…
